Job summary

The Granite Grill in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hiring bartenders for its opening team of this highly anticipated new full-service restaurant. Training will begin in November and positions are offered as both part-time and full-time roles to fit different schedules.

Bartenders are energetic, friendly, and attentive, with the ability to learn our steps of service, food and beverage menus, and company values.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant.
Strong communication and people skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 21 years of age, proficient in English, lift 30 pounds, and able to stand and move about the restaurant for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

Greet bar guests with warmth and professionalism.
Create a convivial bar atmosphere.
Provide menu knowledge and recommendations.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Create cocktails according to recipes.
Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards.
Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
Handle payments.
Work as part of a team to prepare the bar for service and keep the shift moving smoothly including bar cleaning, glass cleaning, pre-bussing.
