The Granite Grill in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hiring bartenders for both part-time and full-time positions as it opens its doors. Training will begin in November, with a focus on our service steps, menu knowledge, and company values.

Ideal candidates are energetic, friendly, and team‑oriented, able to manage busy periods and provide excellent guest experiences. Wages include tips, and a robust benefits package is offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a full service restaurant.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 21 years of age, proficient in English, lift 30 pounds, and stand/move for the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet bar guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Create a convivial bar atmosphere.
• Provide menu knowledge and thoughtful recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Create cocktails according to recipes.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Handle payments.
• Work with the team to prep the bar for service including cleaning and pre-bussing.

The Granite Grill in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hiring part-time and full-time bartenders to join our opening team of this highly anticipated new full-service restaurant! Training will begin in November.

We are looking for energetic, friendly, and attentive team players who love to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Bartenders are immersed in a training program to become knowledgeable in our steps of service, food and beverage menus, and company values.

Bartenders are the face of the restaurant and leave a lasting impression by:

• Greeting bar guests with warmth and professionalism
• Creating a convivial bar atmosphere
• Providing menu knowledge and making thoughtful recommendations
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Creating cocktails according to recipes
• Delivering food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards
• Anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to requests
• Handling payments
• Working as part of a team to prepare the bar for service and keep the shift moving smoothly including bar cleaning, glass cleaning, pre-bussing

What we are looking for:

• Previous bartending experience in a full service restaurant
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and at least 3 shifts per week
• Must be 21 years of age, proficient in English, lift 30 pounds, and able to stand and move about the restaurant for the duration of the shift.

The Granite Grill is a new upscale, classic American grill located in the Glenlake Development where Creedmoor Road meets Edwards Mill. Training will begin in November.

Our menu features seafood, steaks, signature burgers, salads, and familiar appetizers deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients. Our stylish new space includes a well-stocked bar, spacious covered patio, comfy leather booths, and a cozy private event space. Our focus on exceptional service and consistent food and drink create an experience that turns guests into regulars. The Granite Grill is owned and operated by Big Kitchen Hospitality.
