The Granite Grill Glenlake in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hiring part-time and full-time line cooks to join our opening team of this highly anticipated new full-service restaurant. Training will begin in November.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, equipment, techniques, and knife skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy kitchen.
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
• Evenings and weekends availability.
• Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Line cooks are essential to the success of the kitchen and help deliver exceptional meals by:

• Following recipes and plating instructions for all menu items to meet our high standards
• Working efficiently to ensure timely and accurate food delivery in a fast-paced setting
• Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety protocols
• Operating kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and service team to ensure smooth service

What we are looking for

• Kitchen experience in a full service, high-volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and knife skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

About The Granite Grill

The Granite Grill is a new upscale, classic American grill located in West Raleigh's Glenlake Development where Creedmoor Road turns into Edwards Mill. Training will begin in November.

Our menu features seafood, steaks, signature burgers, salads, and familiar appetizers deliciously prepared with fresh ingredients. Our stylish new space includes a well-stocked bar, spacious covered patio, comfy leather booths, and a cozy private event space.
