Job summary

Motek, a Mediterranean concept restaurant under Happy Corner Hospitality, is seeking a skilled Bartender to elevate guest experiences. You will craft signature cocktails, recommend beverages, and work with the bar and front-of-house teams to keep service smooth and engaging.

This role requires at least 2 years in bartending in a fast-paced setting, knowledge of liquor and wine, and familiarity with Toast POS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a bartender role.
• Fast-paced restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of food handling and safety practices.
• Experience with Toast POS system preferred.
• Extensive liquor/wine knowledge; craft cocktails knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offer recommendations on cocktails and dishes to guests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness in bar area and restaurant.
• Collaborate with barbacks to assist with bar preparation.
• Restock and replenish bar items as needed.
• Ensure bar batches are fresh and garnishes are prepared.

Position Overview:

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. You’ll work closely with the bar team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service, consistency, and an elevated guest experience that reflects our brand values. From introducing our concept to new guests, crafting our signature cocktails, and giving recommendations when needed, your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver outstanding dining experiences and keep guests coming back for more.

Responsibilities:

• Become knowledgeable about dishes/cocktails in order to offer recommendations to guests.
• Prepare and server alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness in bar area and restaurant.
• Collaborate with barbacks to assist with bar preparation.
• Restock and replenish bar items as needed.
• Assist with stocking bar, ensuring batches are always fresh, slicing garnishes.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members.
