Food City is hiring a Starbucks Barista to create a welcoming Starbucks experience for shoppers. You will provide prompt service, prepare beverages, and maintain a clean, inviting environment in the store.

You will learn to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea, follow recipe standards, operate the POS system, and collaborate with teammates to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Learn how to mix a wide variety of coffee and tea products.
• Learn the ingredients that go into various products.
• Work with various Starbucks ingredients including coffees, teas, spices, nuts, flavorings, sauces, and oils.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service to Food City shoppers.
• Take customer orders and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare, bag, pour, and stock Starbucks products.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with customers and associates.
• Engage with customers and offer product information, using suggestive selling techniques.
