Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You'll provide prompt service, craft quality beverages, and keep a clean, inviting environment while upholding Hard Rock standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months in food service, strong English communication, basic math skills, and 10-key experience. Part-time, on-site role with a pay range of $14–$19 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
• Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality.
• Must possess basic math skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities, balance cash drawer.
• Must have 10-key adding machine experience.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must possess good guest service skills.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment
• Able to lift up to 25lbs

• Builds and retains guest relations and mentors team to provide superior guest service.
• Provides information on all aspects of Hard Rock services and facilities to guests.
• Quotes accurate waiting times and handles waiting guests according to service standards.
• Responsible for the pickup, countdown and return of cash bank from miscellaneous count.
• Maintains accurate cash balance and handles money securely.
• Maintains dining room cleanliness including bussing tables and sweeping floor.
• Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
• Perform work regularly and predictably.
• Other duties as assigned.
