Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol is seeking a Bar Porter to maintain a high standard of service at the service bar. You will keep the bar stocked, clean, and ready for guests, preparing mixes and garnishes and greeting customers.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a busy casino or high-volume bar, be able to stand for long shifts, and communicate in English. The role requires varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

To see our fill list of Team Member Benefits please visit our career site: www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits **POSITION SUMMARY:**The Bar porter is responsible to maintain a high standard of customer service while ensuring the assigned bar is stocked and clean.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*** Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, coolers, and other bar appliances in accordance with Hard Rock policies.* Ensures bar is set properly.* Ensures all soda gun products, fruit garnishes, and mixes meets service standards.* Stocks assigned bar with product and supplies throughout the shift.* Prepares all mixes and garnishes.* Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar.* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a bar porter and/or bar back in a casino, high-volume nightclub or high-volume restaurant preferred.* Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes.**ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS****:*** Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.* Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required.* Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift & work inside assigned bar areas in the venue.* Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.* The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy.
