The Barista adheres to Hard Rock’s guiding Principles and Amplified Service Standards.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Creates a positive atmosphere.* Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.* Provides information on all aspects of Hard Rock services, and facilities to guests.* Quotes accurate waiting times and handles waiting guests in accordance with Hard Rock’s service standards.* Responsible for the pickup, countdown and return of cash bank from miscellaneous count.* Maintains accurate cash balance and handles money in a secure manner according to established standards.* Responsible for maintaining dining room cleanliness including bussing tables and sweeping floor.* Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.* Perform work regularly and predictably.* Other duties as assigned.**ADDITIONAL DUTIES:*** High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.* Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.* Must possess basic math skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities, balance cash drawer.* Must have 10-key adding machine experience.* Must be detail oriented.* Must possess good guest service skills.* Must be able to work in a smoking environment* Able to lift up to 25lbs**DISCLAIMER:**This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all the responsibilities, skills, duties, efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
