Avera McKennan is hiring for a cafe/food service role at the Avera on Louise Health Campus. You will prepare hot and cold beverages and assist with food preparation for the retail area, and support catering and Doctor's Lounge services.
Shifts are Day Shift, Monday to Friday, with weekend/holiday rotation; pay range $17.50–$21.50 per hour. The position requires 6 months to 1 year related experience and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

Preparation of a variety of coffee beverages. Some preparation and cooking of foods for the retail area. Assists with catering and Doctor's Lounge.
Prepares hot and cold beverages to standards set by Food and Nutrition Services. Meets standards established by Food and Nutrition Services for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency. Delivers all products according to the schedule set for the specific item. Makes recommendations to Food and Nutrition Services for all menus. Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards. Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for Food and Nutrition Services. Accurate cash handling and reconciliation of change due to customers.

six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Associate's or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
