Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a general laborer to load and unload barges and trucks at a facility. The role involves a variety of duties based on daily needs, including cleaning and repair of barges and ensuring grain quality during storage and transfer.

Responsibilities include safely operating equipment, adhering to OSHA and environmental regulations, and completing timely documentation. Flexibility for extended hours and shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred 1 year of industrial work experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload barges and trucks as needed.
• Participate in Safety Program and pre-shift meetings.
• Perform barge loading to meet drafts and quality requirements; supervise deckhands.
• Transfer and move grain to appropriate locations; maintain grain quality.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely; perform general housekeeping.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
• Work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts.
