Job summary

The Langham Chicago is seeking a bar support team member to assist bartenders with initial preparation and service across hotel bars. You will provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests while maintaining Forbes standards.

Responsibilities include stocking beer, wine, and spirits, preparing juices, syrups, and cordials, batching cocktails, and keeping bars clean and stocked. You will work with servers and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• One year bar experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain government licenses if required.

Responsibilities

• Requisition and stocking of beer, wine, and spirits from Purchasing.
• Juicing, syrups, and cordial preparation in amounts per projected business; back-up stock organized in refrigerated space.
• Prepare cocktail batches following approved recipes.
