The Langham, Chicago is seeking a Bartender/Bar Support role to provide service assistance to bartenders and guests with professionalism and courtesy.

You will stock bar ingredients, prepare batches per recipes, maintain cleanliness, assist with opening/closing, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while delivering Forbes-level service. Experience in luxury hotel environment preferred, with evenings/weekends required, and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• Sufficient basic English for writing requisitions and vouchers.
• Good manual dexterity for handling glassware, garnish, and stock.

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with beverage preparation and service.
• Stock bar with beer, wine, and spirits; maintain par levels.
• Prepare cocktail batches following recipes and maintain cleanliness of bar areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and liquor regulations.
• Provide excellent guest service and respond to guest inquiries about local attractions.
