Job summary

Palette Hotels is seeking a Bartender to serve beverages and light meals to guests in a friendly, timely manner. The role includes preparing beverages for other servers and acting as cashier for the lounge.

The ideal candidate will have bartending experience, basic beverage knowledge, and the ability to obtain any government-required license. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bartender must have bartending experience and basic beverage knowledge.
• Ability to obtain government required license or certificate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Liquor certification if required by state/local government.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis.
• Responsible for stock, garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in courteous and friendly manner.
• Promotes and documents orders for drinks.
• Inputs orders into a register and creates checks for each guest.
• Processes all payments and balances cash.
