InterContinental Indianapolis is seeking a guest-focused bartender to welcome guests and deliver high-standard beverage service. You’ll manage stock, handle cash and credit transactions, and collaborate with restaurant colleagues to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, plus a minimum of two years' experience and the ability to read, write, and perform basic math are required. Training and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• The role requires lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol; fluent in the local language.
• Excellent communication and guest-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm welcome for every guest to set the tone of their experience.
• Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard and highlight promotions.
• Own the bar – manage stock, inventory and equipment and keep the space clean.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
