Distinctive Catering is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to oversee all aspects of our bar service operations. This leadership role is based out of our central facility and supports events across multiple venues. You will manage logistics, staff, inventory, and on-site execution — all while setting the tone for hospitality excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct and coordinate the delivery of off-premise bar services.
  • Order all liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies from authorized vendors
  • Maintain accurate inventories, usage reports, and cost control records
  • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule bartenders for up to 20+ events weekly during peak season
  • Provide on-site support at events to coach staff and uphold quality and service standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local venues and promote Distinctive Catering as a preferred vendor
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state alcohol service regulations
  • Collaborate with support other departments as needed to ensure seamless event execution.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of management experience in food & beverage or hospitality and a strong bartending background is required.
  • TIPS Certification (required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team and manage multiple events simultaneously
