An established industry player is seeking a dynamic individual for a bartending management role. This position involves leading a team to deliver exceptional guest service while maximizing revenue through effective management and operational improvements. People Management and Training: This position requires leadership and problem-solving skills to drive revenue, maximize profit, ensure quality, assess risks and safety hazards, and enhance the guest and employee experience. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, managing staff/departments, and achieving financial, guest, and employee satisfaction.
Guest Service/Point of Sale: Greet guests courteously, respond to their needs, and operate POS systems accurately following company procedures. Ensure proper cash handling and financial closing to support sales growth.
Bartender Duties: Prepare and customize drinks based on seasonality and guest suggestions. Train staff, ensure proper equipment use, control costs, and comply with liquor laws. Upsell to increase revenue and assist colleagues to meet guest needs.
Paperwork: Complete all documentation accurately and timely, including shift inventories and other reports.
Safety/Risk Management: Maintain cleanliness and safety, comply with regulations, and handle incidents per procedures. Be knowledgeable of emergency protocols.
Financial Results and Cost Control: Assist with labor management and operational improvements to maximize revenue.
Self/Workload Management: Demonstrate attention to detail, communication, leadership, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Adhere to grooming, appearance, and attendance policies.
Miscellaneous/Other Duties: Complete assigned tasks, contribute to team success, and perform additional duties as needed.
Education: High school diploma or GED required; bartending certification preferred.
Experience/Skills: 5+ years bartending, management experience, customer service excellence, and language proficiency in English. Certifications like TIPS or CARE desirable.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally; capable of walking, standing, and moving continuously.
Compensation/Benefits: $60,000 to $70,000 annually based on experience, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision.
