Position: Restaurant Server - AM Shift Availability Required

Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports to: F & B Director

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Server is responsible for taking guest orders, serving, and informing guests of various beverages and food options in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The Server will work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen team to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inform guests of beverage and food pairings.
• Describe food ingredients, textures, and tastes in detail.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests.
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring correct delivery.
• Prepare final bill, present check, accept payment, process credit cards.
• Assist other servers with running food.
• Perform side work at shift start and end.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• One year of serving experience required.
• Experience in establishments with more than 20 beer taps preferred.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of product promotion and sales techniques.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and satisfaction evaluation.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food presentation.
• Flexible scheduling; availability afternoons, evenings, weekends & holidays.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical activities like climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling materials.
• Stand and move for up to 8 hours.
• Perform kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting as needed.
