Job summary

Cigars International is seeking a Bar Lead for the Tampa area to supervise high‑volume bar operations, ensure top‑tier customer service, and manage inventory and staff performance. You will oversee bartenders, monitor pouring levels, and maintain compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires a valid 21+ age, willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a focus on delivering optimal customer experiences while supporting promotional events and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of bar/restaurant supervisor experience in a high‑volume bar setting.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast‑paced, stressful environment.
• Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Accurately order, receive and count inventory from vendors.
• Create a culture of accountability for staff, including all quality, safety, and customer service procedures.
• Maintain all necessary save‑serve certifications and ensure staff comply with all local and state regulations.
• Adhere to the company’s cleanliness and organizational standards.
• Coach and train team members to ensure company performance and customer service standards are met.
• Bartend as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
