Job summary

Cigars International is seeking a Bar Back to join the team at the nation’s largest Cigar Bar. Bring a positive demeanor, energy, and a strong work ethic to support bartenders and staff in a high-energy setting.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in a bar/restaurant environment, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required as we operate during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of one year experience in the Bar/Restaurant industry.
• Comfortable lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Positive and resilient personality with a "never quit" attitude.
• Capability to walk, stand, and frequently handle heavy items within a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Availability to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fully stocked ice bins, liquor wells, and beer coolers for the bartenders.
• Support cocktail servers by clearing tables.
• Assist in trash and recycling disposal as required.
• Communicate potential issues to the Manager on Duty.
• Aid in managing unruly patrons when necessary.
• Rotate kegs as needed.
• Contribute to the bussing, cleaning, and stocking of glassware.
• Keep the sales and service floor free from debris.
• Uphold cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
