Job summary

The Restaurant Bartender at Grand Hyatt shapes the guest experience through exceptional service, beverage knowledge, and friendly hospitality. You craft cocktails, manage bar operations, and contribute to a welcoming ambiance that supports guest satisfaction and brand reputation.

Responsibilities include preparing drinks, serving offerings, handling payments, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe bar area. Leadership duties may arise in the absence of a supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; TIPS certification required.
• Must meet all state/local age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix ingredients to craft cocktails and drinks with accuracy.
• Serve wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages and accompanying food.
• Collect payment and handle transactions at the bar.
• Stock, replenish, and display beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
• Maintain clean bar, glassware, and equipment.
• Greet guests warmly and proactively assist in service flow.
• Lead assigned associates in the absence of a supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
