Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to craft beverages and deliver welcoming service to guests. You will follow recipes, handle bar cash transactions, and maintain a clean, stocked bar. The role supports hotel operations through effective communication with other departments.

Requires one year of high-volume bar experience, strong drink knowledge, and adherence to health and safety standards. Benefits and tips accompany the hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• Minimum of one year of high-volume bar service experience required.
• Strong knowledge of drink preparation and health standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to operate bar-related equipment, including coffee makers and cash terminals.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, from freezers to kitchens.
• Capacity to stand and move for extended periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and maneuver in confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on hotel business needs, including attending all required training sessions and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages for guests and servers promptly and professionally.
• Follow recipes using established measuring systems for consistent drink quality.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol laws and safety protocols.
• Act as cashier for servers when necessary and handle transactions accurately.
• Set up the bar, maintain cleanliness, and restock supplies.
• Restock bar supplies and anticipate replenishment needs.
• Balance opening/closing inventories and secure transactions at shift end.
• Communicate with other departments for seamless service delivery.
• Attend daily hotel operations meetings and support hotel strategy.
