Wave Resort in New Jersey seeks a seasoned F&B leader to own banquets, catering, weddings, and group events, integrating the restaurant, bar, and lounges with Sales and Event Services. You will coach managers, build budgets, and drive profitability while upholding top guest service and safety standards.

You will work across departments to ensure flawless events, develop a bench of strong leaders, and maintain calm, organized operations during peak activity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive F&B management experience.
• 2+ years leading banquet, catering, or large-scale event operations in a hotel/resort/venue.
• Track record of developing managers, not just supervising them.
• Ability to turn financial data into an operational plan.
• Strong communication with guests, clients, and team at all levels.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.

Responsabilités

• Lead banquets, catering, weddings, and group events from planning to breakdown across all outlets.
• Partner with Sales and Catering/Event Services on forecasts, menus, pricing, and post-event reviews.
• Coach and mentor the Assistant Director of F&B and banquet/outlet managers.
• Build the F&B budget, forecast revenue and labor against event volume; select vendor partners to improve profitability.
• Champion guest service standards, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service.
• Collaborate with HR on recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance conversations.
