This on‑call, on‑site role collaborates with the Banquet Manager to coordinate operations, supervise staff, and uphold service standards for all events.

The role requires 2+ years in banquet/event management, strong leadership, and knowledge of health/safety regulations.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in banquet or event management, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and make adjustments as needed.
Knowledge of banquet setups, service standards, and health/safety regulations.
Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale systems and event management software.

Responsibilities

Provide professional and courteous service at all times during banquet events.
Ensure timely and efficient setup of all function rooms in accordance with event specifications.
Maintain inventory levels of banquet supplies and equipment.
Supervise and direct banquet servers, bartenders, and house-persons to ensure consistent service.
Coordinate with clients during events to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Collaborate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service flow during events.
