LINE Austin is seeking a dynamic Banquets Manager to lead the events department, driving quality service, cost control, and customer satisfaction. You will supervise front-of-house staff, coordinate with the kitchen, and align with LINE policies and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of event experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication abilities in English. Join a creative hospitality team in a vibrant hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of event experience.
• Strong ability in MS Office and F&B software systems.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Excellent organization and time management; multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Must be courteous and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Holds pre-function briefings to determine function specs.
• Ensures proper room setup per BEO and client requests.
• Coordinates with servers to ensure quality service.
• Manages staffing, training and scheduling of personnel.
• Coordinates with kitchen on timing for function service.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness and OSHA awareness.
• Attends relevant department meetings.
