The LINE Hotels seeks a dynamic Banquets Manager to oversee daily events operations across its Austin property. You will manage front-of-house staff, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure guest satisfaction, cost control, and compliance with LINE policies. A passion for hospitality and entrepreneurial spirit are essential.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, event quality control, and seamless coordination with internal teams to deliver memorable experiences for guests and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year event experience.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and F&B software (POS, Delphi).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent reading, writing and spoken English.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Able to work well under pressure and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, professional demeanor at all times.
• Coordinate pre-function briefing to determine function specs.
• Ensure proper room setup according to BEO and client requests.
• Assign servers to stations to ensure quality service.
• Address customer concerns promptly and tactfully.
• Coordinate with kitchen on timing for food presentation and delivery.
• Lead staff direction and schedule personnel; manage payroll costs.
• Maintain safety standards and proper storage and cleanliness.
