Renaissance Hotels Austin seeks an experienced Banquets/Events Manager to lead event operations and front-line teams, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to brand standards. You will communicate guest needs to kitchen and staff, verify room readiness, and supervise daily stand-up and pre/post-event briefings.

The role emphasizes team leadership, scheduling, cost control, and delivering excellent guest experiences while maximizing financial performance.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma/GED or 2-year degree in hotel/restaurant management, hospitality or related major.
• Experience: 2 years in food & beverage, guest services, or related area.
• Preferred: experience running a shift, scheduling, performance management and hospitality skills.

Responsabilités

• Ensure event spaces are set per BEO and client requirements.
• Lead shifts and actively service events to maintain quality.
• Train staff and communicate performance expectations.
• Coordinate with Event Services and kitchen for guest needs and dietary requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of function spaces and supplies.
