The LINE Hotel Group in Austin, TX seeks an Assistant Banquets Manager with a passion for hospitality and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will oversee daily event operations, manage front-of-house staff, and coordinate with culinary teams to ensure flawless execution.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of event experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and F&B systems. This role emphasizes teamwork, cost control, and guest satisfaction within a dynamic hotel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year event experience.
• Strong ability in using MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) and F&B software systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the events department and ensure quality service.
• Coordinate with the Senior B&C Manager on goals and budgets.
• Delegate and supervise front-of-house staff for events.
• Ensure proper room setup according to BEO and client requests.
• Maintain communications and teamwork with other hotel departments.
• Interview, train, and schedule banquet staff.
• Coordinate with the kitchen for timing and presentation of food.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest service.
