Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive banquet or F&B experience with 3-5 years in a banquet leadership role
• Experience in a full-service, high-volume hotel, convention hotel, or resort preferred
• Experience with Hilton brand systems and standards (OnQ, Delphi/Amadeus) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end execution of all banquet functions per BEO specs and timelines
• Review Banquet Event Orders daily and resolve conflicts or changes
• Lead pre-event and pre-shift meetings to communicate event details and service standards
• Coordinate with Culinary, Catering/Sales, Convention Services, Stewarding, Engineering, and AV teams
• Serve as on-site contact for planners and clients during events
• Manage room turns and concurrent events in a high-volume environment
• Own banquet department financial performance including revenue and costs
• Monitor annual budgets and explain variances; take corrective action
• Post banquet charges accurately and reconcile event checks
• Optimize labor scheduling against forecasted volume
• Manage inventory of banquet equipment and supplies; control losses
• Identify upsell opportunities with Catering Sales
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise banquet staff
• Set performance expectations and conduct coaching and reviews
• Maintain flexible staffing to match peak periods
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with brand standards
• Ensure staff training on service standards, safety, and responsible alcohol service
• Address employee relations with HR as needed
• Deliver exceptional service to meet guest satisfaction and scores
• Build relationships with clients to encourage rebooking and referrals
• Proactively address guest concerns with urgency and professionalism
• Walk event spaces to inspect readiness
• Perform other duties as assigned
