Redd Hospitality in Texas is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to lead a high-volume banquet and catering operation within a luxury or full-service hotel. The ideal candidate will oversee both on-site and off-site events, delivering flawless execution and exceptional guest experiences at weddings, galas, corporate meetings, and conferences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Banquet Management experience in a full-service hotel.
• Experience managing both on-site and off-site catering/events.
• Proven experience overseeing banquet/catering operations generating $5 million+ in annual banquet revenue.
• Experience executing events with 1,000+ guests.
• Strong leadership experience managing large banquet service teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all banquet operations from setup to breakdown.
• Manage multiple events simultaneously, including weddings, galas, corporate meetings, conventions, and social functions.
• Coordinate closely with Catering Sales, Event Managers, Culinary, Stewarding, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop banquet captains, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
• Maintain exceptional service standards while ensuring guest satisfaction at every event.
• Oversee off-site catering events, including logistics, staffing, transportation, and execution.
• Manage labor costs, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and banquet operating expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
• Monitor banquet equipment, room setups, and service standards to maintain brand excellence.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
