Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a seasoned Banquets leader to own the overall performance of the Banquets Department. You will balance flawless event execution with budget, labor, and service standards while coaching leaders and developing a strong leadership pipeline.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in banquet or hotel leadership, experience with high-volume events, and expertise in forecasting, scheduling, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive banquet or hotel leadership experience.
• Experience with high-volume banquet operations and event execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall performance of the Banquets Department and ensure exceptional event execution and guest satisfaction within budgets.
• Develop staffing strategies based on forecasts, events, and labor hours; adjust schedules and manage daily labor and variances.
• Manage departmental expenses, explain variances, and present recovery plans to leadership.
• Coach and develop Banquets leaders and associates with timely feedback and corrective actions.
• Build leadership depth by developing assistants and captains to lead events.
• Review BEOs, forecasts, and upcoming business to plan staffing and procurement for peak periods.
• Attend client touchpoints and ensure leadership is prepared to discuss event execution and service standards.
