Description

The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for daily inspection of meetings/banquets set up, ensure that they are properly set and on schedule.

The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for daily inspection of meetings/banquets set up, ensure that they are properly set and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee each shift providing instructions of room set up and client requirements including review of event orders, resumes and files.
• Supervises the set-up of function rooms to include placement of linens, silver, china, and glassware according to event order specifications.
• Visually inspects function rooms and equipment prior to functions for cleanliness, proper inventory, and set up.
• Train and instruct personnel on work assignments, new procedures, setups and breakdowns.
• Supervises clean-up of function room and proper breakdown and storage of equipment.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationship with exhibit hall and public space subcontractors. Coordinate information regarding exhibitor’s lists, set up and dismantle dates, floor plans, billing arrangements, permit and exhibitor kits with managers.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms to the rooms stay presentable at all times.
