Zollege is currently searching for a Workforce Development Admissions Advisor.
Zollege leads the change in the for-profit certificate market so that students begin their careers with zero federal financial aid and minimal debt. We believe in hands-on learning, relationship building, and teamwork.
The Workforce Development Admissions Advisor is responsible for guiding prospective students through all stages of the admissions and WIOA application process, with a focus on achieving enrollment targets. This role involves high-volume communication with potential students and requires strong interpersonal and follow up skills. The Workforce Development Admissions Advisor will use a consultative approach to address student inquiries, provide information about program offerings, and guide them through the WIOA application process while keeping them motivated to see the process through.
- Drive student enrollment numbers by proactively managing a pipeline of prospective WIOA students through effective follow-up and consistent communication.
- Conduct high-volume phone calls, emails, and SMS communications with participants up until they start class.
Counseling and Guidance
- Conduct Admissions interviews to determine if they may be a good candidate for WIOA.
- Clearly explain program details, admissions requirements, and the enrollment process to students.
- Address concerns, answer questions, and provide additional resources to assist in the decision-making process.
- Follow up regularly to keep them moving through the application process.
Target Achievement
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment goals set by the team leader.
- Track and monitor key performance metrics, including conversion rates, to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Workforce Development Staff to implement strategies for achieving enrollment goals.
Database and CRM Management
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions with students in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.
- Use CRM tools to schedule follow-ups, track student progress, and manage leads effectively.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years experience in a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in student advising, admissions, sales, or customer service, ideally with experience in high-volume calls or lead conversion.
- Ability to work independently with very little supervision.
- Experience working with WIOA and other grants.
- Familiarity with American Job Centers.
- Understand the importance of speed-to-lead.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive and consultative approach.
- Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment or sales targets.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) to manage and track leads.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple student inquiries and priorities effectively.
