Job summary

Westin Mount Laurel is seeking a Banquet/Event Assistant to prepare and maintain meeting rooms, stock supplies, and support guests during events. This role requires physical activity such as moving tables, chairs, and equipment throughout shifts.

The position is full-time, hourly, and located in Mount Laurel Township, NJ. Experience in food and beverage service and knowledge of event setups is helpful for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Understanding guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications, including transporting tables and chairs.
• Maintain and clean meeting rooms and ballrooms between events.
• Restock meeting rooms with clean glasses and water; follow safety rules.
• Assist with cleaning duties and spill cleanups as needed by supervisor.
• Coordinate with supervisor to ensure smooth shifts and guest satisfaction.
