Job summary

The Westin Mount Laurel is seeking a Banquet Set-Up associate to prepare and break down meeting spaces, transport tables, chairs, podiums and other equipment, and keep storage rooms organized for efficient operations.

You will set up rooms to guest specifications, assist with cleaning and replenishment of glassware and water, and work with supervision to ensure safety and quality standards during events.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware; awareness of room setup styles.
• English sufficient to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to apply product labeling instructions for safe use.
• Capability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain storage rooms organized and accessible.
• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications; transport tables, chairs, and related equipment.
• Break down rooms after events and return items to storage.
• Replenish meeting rooms with glassware and water; assist with cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to safety procedures; follow supervisor directions and policies.
