Job summary

Marriott International is seeking banquet staff for the Westin Mount Laurel property in Mount Laurel Township, NJ. This full-time, hourly role involves setting up and breaking down meeting spaces, transporting furniture and equipment, and maintaining clean and ready-to-use rooms for events.

You will work closely with supervisors to ensure guest satisfaction, adhere to safety standards, and support other banquet personnel as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations.
• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Ability to comprehend written product labeling instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize storage rooms.
• Break down and reset meeting rooms as needed.
• Move and place tables, chairs, and podiums (up to 80 lbs).
• Set up meeting rooms per guest specifications.
• Replenish meeting rooms with glasses and water.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety rules.
• Assist other banquet staff as needed.
• Perform general cleaning tasks with hotel products.
