Job summary

Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa seeks a Banquet Head Houseperson to set up meetings, meal functions, and A/V equipment per hotel policies. You’ll supervise the banquet setup team, ensure spaces are ready, and deliver excellent guest service.

Responsibilities include coordinating water/amenities, handling guest equipment requests, assisting with meal service, and aiding with event breakdown while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience coordinating banquet setups is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the banquet setup team and shift operations.
• Ensure meeting spaces, water, amenities, and A/V are ready 15 minutes before events.
• Greet guests professionally and respond to their needs promptly.
• Assist with banquet meal service and event breakdown.
• Coordinate with front office for accurate posting and billing of guest checks.
• Follow safety and energy conservation procedures at all times.
