San Diego Marriott Del Mar is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support seamless setup and execution of meetings and events, ensuring a professional environment and attentive guest service. You will coordinate room setup, amenities, water service, and A/V needs, respond to guest requests, and assist with banquet meal service while upholding safety and energy conservation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and clean meeting and banquet function rooms according to standards.
• Ensure water, amenities, AV, and breaks are ready at least 15 minutes before events.
• Respond to guest requests for equipment and supplies and notify for billing.
• Provide warm, professional guest service and resolve requests.
• Assist with banquet meal service and event breakdown.
• Follow safety procedures and energy conservation guidelines.
