Job summary

Running Y Resort is seeking a Banquet Set‑up crew member to greet guests and ensure a memorable dining and meeting experience at the resort. You will set up spaces for weddings, conferences, and receptions, including tables, chairs, stages, and A/V equipment.

You will support banquet management, adjust room settings for comfort, and maintain safety and cleanliness across venues. Strong English communication and physical stamina are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects of 25-50 lbs.
• Excellent oral communication and positive interpersonal skills.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders at the start of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted.
• Prepare rooms for use; adjust lights, sound, and temperature as needed before guests arrive.
• Communicate with banquet management staff on special needs.
• Help ensure events run on time and relay status to the Banquet Manager on duty.
• Maintain proper use and upkeep of A/V and meeting room equipment.
