Job summary

Running Y Resort in Oregon seeks a Banquet Set-up crew member to ensure guests have a memorable experience during weddings, conferences, and events. You will prepare rooms, arrange tables, chairs, stages, and A/V equipment, coordinating with the Banquet Manager to meet contract requirements.

This role requires physical stamina, English fluency, and at least one year of banquet or serving experience. Duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and working varied hours, including evenings and holidays,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• 1 year Banquet or Serving Experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
• Food Handlers Card, OLCC Certification, and Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the beginning of each shift and set up rooms and A/V as contracted.
• Prepare rooms for use; adjust lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed.
• Communicate with banquet management regarding special needs.
• Help ensure events stay on time and re-set rooms for next event contracts.
• Maintain proper use and maintenance of all A/V and meeting room equipment.
• Greet guests and provide dining service and beverages; assist with service as needed.
