Job summary

TGiS Catering Services Inc. in Bellflower is seeking a reliable Banquet Houseman to prepare the facility for events, set up tables, chairs, linens, service stations, and decorations under the Venue Manager while supporting the event team.

You will breakdown rooms after events, transport and store equipment, clean banquet rooms, restrooms, and corridors, maintain safety, and adapt to changing event needs while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in banquet operations, event setup, or a comparable hospitality role.

Responsibilities

• Review event orders and floor plans with the Venue Manager; prepare spaces accordingly.
• Set up tables, chairs, linens, service stations, staging, and decorations per the event plan.
• Complete setups on time and refresh spaces between activities; communicate delays.
• Break down and reset rooms after events; transport and store equipment securely.
• Support servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and other team members as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, restrooms, storage spaces, and service areas.
