Job summary

Gale-Hotels is seeking a Banquet Houseman to support the banquet department by ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and cleanliness of banquet rooms before, during, and after events. You will collaborate with the banquet team to meet guest needs and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. English and Spanish language skills are preferred to assist diverse guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a banquet or hospitality-related role.
• Experience with large-scale events and banquet setups preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain banquet rooms according to BEOs and instructions.
• Set up and break down banquet rooms with tables, chairs, linens, and décor.
• Ensure equipment and materials are in good condition and properly arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout events.
• Assist in moving food, beverage, and service items for smooth operations.
• Coordinate with other departments for seamless event transitions.
• Reset banquet rooms for future events and store supplies properly.
