Job summary

One&Only Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, MT, seeks a Houseman to provide physical support for banquet events, set up and break down furniture, transport equipment, and ensure spaces are prepared to the highest standards before, during, and after events.

You will collaborate with Stewarding and Housekeeping, assist with bars and buffet setups, remain available for last-minute changes, and contribute to safe, efficient event operations while supporting Food & Beverage teams when no events are

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet, event, or restaurant operations, moving functions, or similar physically demanding environments is preferred.
• Hospitality exposure within a hotel or resort environment is an advantage.
• Must be able to perform continuous physical work throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet spaces according to event diagrams, specifications, and timelines.
• Assist with loading and unloading banquet equipment for events at different venues.
• Move, arrange, and position banquet tables, chairs, couches, and other furniture.
• Assist with the set up of bars, buffet stations, service stations, lounge areas, tables, chairs, glassware, silverware, and other event equipment.
• Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and properly prepared before guests arrive.
• Help clean spaces, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spot cleaning, and other duties.
• Work with Stewarding and Housekeeping to ensure smooth event execution.
• Remain available during events to respond to setup changes and last-minute requests.
• Assist with dismantling event spaces after events and return items to storage.
• Maintain inventory and report missing or damaged items.
