Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino is seeking a Banquets Set-Up Supervisor to oversee banquet setup, arrangement, and breakdown for all events. You will lead the banquet setup team, coordinate with event managers and catering staff, and ensure work complies with client specifications and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in banquet setup with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in banquet setup or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to lift/move heavy equipment.

Responsabilités

• Review event orders to ensure correct set-up of tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and AV equipment.
• Ensure all room arrangements are accurate and completed in a timely manner prior to event start.
• Adjust set-up according to last-minute changes or requests from the event manager or client.
• Inspect the event space after setup for cleanliness and adherence to client specifications.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure furniture and equipment are in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot issues during event preparations and solve problems swiftly.
• Work with event planners, catering managers, and other departments for seamless coordination.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients on setup requirements or changes.
• Supervise breakdown and cleanup after events and store equipment properly.
• Perform inventory checks and report damages or shortages.
