Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee assigned Banquet Events, ensuring guest satisfaction with food and service. You will train and supervise servers and bartenders, manage banquet operations, and maintain high service standards across events.

The role requires prior banquet department experience, strong leadership, and the ability to act decisively to solve guest issues while upholding company policies and SOPs.

Formación

• Meets IMGR&C Values reflected in the letters A-P-A-C-H-E and works with enthusiasm.
• Must have worked in banquet department for a minimum of six months and be able to work all shifts; proven dependability.

Responsabilidades

• Review pertinent BEO (Banquet Event Order) for all details outlined for assigned Event(s).
• Assign tasks to individual Servers during Event and supervise performance.
• Assign and supervise PRE and POST Event support activities i.e. polishing, table and buffet sets, breakdown.
• Resolve any Event problems to Client's satisfaction.
• Conduct and track training of new hires.
• Advise Banquet Manager on Inventory needs to maintain PAR levels.
• Fill out Captain's Report after each Event.
• Utilize computer skills to operate in Microsoft Word, Food Trak, Daylight, and Agilysys Programs.
• Be able to operate Agilysys POS.
• Demonstrated commitment to researching and implementing new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance the operations of Banquets.
• Other duties as assigned.
