Inn of the Mountain Gods is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee and supervise assigned Banquet Events, ensuring client satisfaction with food and service. You will train and supervise servers and bartenders, adhere to hospitality standards, and resolve guest concerns promptly.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to take ownership of problems when solutions aren’t readily available. Prior banquet experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; good oral and written communication skills.
• Minimum six months in banquet department; proven dependability in performance.
• Ability to explain and demonstrate hospitality behaviors and performance standards.
• Willingness to work all Marketing Special Events and Concerts.

Responsabilidades

• Review pertinent BEO (Banquet Event Order) for all details outlined for assigned Event(s).
• Assign tasks to individual Servers during Event and supervise performance.
• Assign and supervise PRE and POST Event support activities (polishing, table and buffet sets, breakdown).
• Resolve any Event problems to Client's satisfaction.
• Conduct and track training of new hires.
• Advise Banquet Manager on Inventory needs to maintain PAR levels.
• Fill out Captain's Report after each Event.
• Utilize computer skills to operate in Microsoft Word, Food Trak, Daylight, and Agilysys Programs; Be able to operate Agilysys POS.
