Job summary

Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah, GA seeks an Assists Banquet Manager to support seamless banquet operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role focuses on setup, service, and coordination with supervisors to deliver high standards.

You will collaborate with banquet teams, maintain service quality, and uphold safety and etiquette during events at our sophisticated Savannah venue.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to pitch in and help co-workers with their duties and be a team player.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs in a crowded room during shift.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor, including linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function specifics and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and/or beverages in order and to Supervisor's expectations; remove dishes promptly as courses finish.
• Abide by all state and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction; reset room after each function.
