Job summary

The Kimpton Brice Hotel, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts in Savannah, GA, seeks a Banquet Attendant to help deliver exceptional guest experiences at banquet events and maintain the hotel’s high service standards.

You will set up banquet rooms, attend pre-event roll calls, greet guests, serve courses, replenish beverages, reset spaces, and assist teammates as needed. Hotel experience preferred; ability to stand long hours and lift up to 30 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Team player and willing to pitch-in.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and etiquette.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Supervisor.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the banquet.
• Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
• Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Supervisor's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
