Courtyard Gulfport Beachfront is seeking a banquet server to ensure quality guest service during events and banquets. You will be knowledgeable about menu items, beverages, and BEOs, and you will serve dishes with proper china and garnish while maintaining sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include assisting other servers, setting up for events, and relaying guest feedback to management. Flexibility with hotel scheduling and event demands is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret BEOs and menus.
• Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality guest service and monitor service area.
• Know all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc. and how to read BEOs.
• Serve items with appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
• Assist other servers and set up housepersons as needed.
• Relay all guest feedback to management promptly.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards and safe alcohol service.
• Assist in setting tables with linen and silverware and maintain high presentation standards.
• Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions.
