Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server to prepare for and serve guests during banquet functions, upholding the hotel's standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, sanitation, and warm hospitality.

You will review BEOs, set and maintain stations, learn menus, assist with buffets and coffee breaks, and ensure guest needs are met while following security and service policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous banquet server experience preferred.
• TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certification, or be certified by first day on the job.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and complete setup accordingly.
• Set tables neatly with clean linens, silverware, china, and glassware, restocking as needed.
• Learn menu items and explain major ingredients and preparation methods to guests.
• Stand at assigned station at least 15 minutes before function start time.
• Acknowledge and respond to guest requests and escalate to supervisor when needed.
• Keep station neat and clean during service and patrol for full beverage refills.
