Job summary

The Westin Memphis Beale Street Hotel is seeking a part-time Banquet Server in Memphis, TN. You will serve food and beverages, set up banquet spaces, and assist with function service according to brand standards. This on-call role requires flexibility across shifts based on event demands.

Qualifications include 21+ age, Tennessee alcohol license, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of banquet or restaurant server experience. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Active Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission License.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of restaurant or banquet server experience.
• Ability to work on-call shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Stand for extended periods; push/pull service carts up to 250 pounds; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate and understand guests.
• Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of department policies, service procedures and standards.
• Set up function spaces and assist in service according to function requirements.
• Serve all courses and beverages to guests per function specifications.
• Monitor cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas; restock items for next service.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and POS system usage as applicable.
• Resolve guest inquiries and ensure guest satisfaction.
